The stage crew are packing it down, the glitter’s settling, and that southerly has flicked the aircon back on. After a mega busy weekend, it’s nice to see the joint sliding back into “just a beach” mode again.
One footers this morning. The 100-litre foamie armada is out in full force, patrolling the perfectly preserved banks like it’s a training camp. Silver lining? These banks haven’t budged. Not an inch. Long flat spells will do that — lock them in like concrete. On the right tide it’s actually kinda playful… but gee, when it’s 30+ degrees and every man, woman and backpacker piles in, it can feel like a lawless sandbar summit. Be cafeful!
Midweek rain incoming — around 20mm Wednesday by the look of it — so enjoy today and tomorrow’s mild, partly cloudy cruisiness. Might be some windswept waves Thursday/Friday if the breeze cooperates.
