If you were up early this morning, you would’ve been treated to a pretty spectacular sunrise. It didn’t hang around for long, lighting up like a little curtain above Ben Buckler before everything slipped back to grey and overcast.
Loads of people were out and about early, and for good reason. The weather is looking unreal today, with a top of 26 degrees and a low of 19. From here, it looks sunny right through until Monday, before a bit of rain rolls in next week.
The surf has dropped right back. It’s only 1-2 foot this morning and definitely smaller than I thought it would be. There’s a tiny mix of south and east swell, and while it’s surfable, it’s pretty much limping into shore. Still, plenty of people out there making the most of it.
We’ve currently got around 10 knots of northwest wind. We’ve just come off the 11:30am high tide and we’re heading towards a 6pm low.
