Another beautiful Monday morning in Bondi.
It was around 13 degrees at sunrise, warming up to about 20 today. We might see a little shower around 5 or 6pm, but for now it’s pretty damn nice.
Winds are light from the west this morning, before swinging southeast and then straight south later today, so get your surfing done early.
The swell jumped overnight. Yesterday’s Boardriders comp was scraping around in 1-2 footers, but this morning we’ve got head-high sets rolling into Bondi. It should improve again on the incoming tide before the onshores get into it later.
Tomorrow looks bigger again, then Thursday could get properly large, probably too big for Bondi, but there should be some good options elsewhere. The weekend is shaping up pretty nicely too. Not a bad week ahead.
The brine is still nippy at 18 degrees.
High tide was around 5am, low at 10:30am, then we’re heading back to a 5pm high.
Our new wave series has been popular, and this image is coming home to go on my lounge wall – big!
Have a good Monday.
