Yesterday was your classic summer’s beach day. Baking hot sun. 2-3 foot sets. Offshore. Joy. Then bang, around 2pm a violent south change terrorises Sydney with 45 knot winds causing a mass exodus of the beaches as umbrellas, sulo bins & towels blow down the street.

The gale continues this morning with 25 knots of south easterly. Swell has come up with the wind – sets broke out the back of Bondi around 4-5 foot, but it’s completely onshore – mushburgers. Only 3 guys out scrappin’.

From Wednesday to Saturday this week we’ve got deluxe beach weather. The swell will peak today and decline into the rest of the week. No major swells to report on the radar.

Great trip to WA last week. Here is a online photo gallery to distract you from work. Thanks for the 5,000 emails about the girls last week… my cousins are nice girls aren’t they…and no you can’t have their numbers creeps.
