Beach Faces

One of the best things about getting up at sunrise every morning and heading down the beach is the people. At that time of day most people are positive, highly motivated and basically good people. Ok, there may be a few left over benders from the Bondi Hotel on a big night/morning, but they generally ask for a lighter and then roll over and pass out. I digress. This morning seeing the surf wasn’t that flash I shot portraits of anyone that came up for a chat. Some mornings I can chat to 20-30 people whilst shooting which is a great aspect of the ‘job’. It’s very social and there is no shortage of people down there that’s for sure.

Back to specifics….it’s 2 foot onshore, junkie, no one around and about a 3 out of 10. Wind and swell has gone SE so I’d say the water temp has come back from the artic weekend (say 20 today). Rain forecast and hopefully clearing, max 22.
