I’m back in town. I leave Bondi for two weeks, and all hell breaks loose? There’s a media storm around a roped-off area on the sand for paying guests, a new cantilevered photography viewing platform at the South Bondi (looooove it) and the North Bondi Broadwalk works looks close to completion.
But still, no sandbanks at South Bondi. Still. South Bondi is broken. North Bondi is going to be busy this summer if the sand doesn’t return to the south! Let’s all chuck in 50 bucks and hire a bulldozer.
It’s unsurfable today; weak one footers with a southerly ruffling the surfaces. Tiny waves forecasted all week with incredible beach weather.
