For 27 years, Uge has photographed Bondi at sunrise. Those quiet moments before the beach comes alive have become the inspiration behind thousands of Aquabumps photographs, and in 2025, they inspired a collaboration with Cotton On Body.
Created alongside the Cotton On Body design team and Ant Donovan, the Sunrise Club Bondi capsule collection celebrated the rhythm of early mornings by the ocean. The range featured swimwear, beach towels, tees, caps and everyday essentials designed for life around the beach, with fabrics made from 70% recycled materials.
The collection also included an exclusive Aquabumps Sunrise Club tote, with all proceeds from the $5 tote donated to our charity partner, Citizens of the Reef, helping support the protection and restoration of Australia’s coral reefs.
What made the collaboration even more special was discovering that both Aquabumps and Cotton On are family-owned Australian businesses, united by a shared appreciation for the coast, community and an active outdoor lifestyle.
The Sunrise Club Bondi collection captured the essence of those first light moments that continue to inspire Aquabumps every morning.
