Northern Beaches

Sydney’s city beaches are divided by the deepest harbour in the world. As the crow flies, there’s nothing in it – it’s all relatively close and a short ferry ride to either side. By car, wow, on a busy, sunny day, it’s an hour, schlepping bumper to bumper to cross the bridge.

It’s a different world over the north side. Some say quieter and more mellow, but I reckon Manly is as busy (or busier than Bondi). Yes, the rest of Northern Beaches are chilled the further you get away from Manly.

Seeing today’s a wet one, the cameras remain in their bags. I want to show you some pics from the weekend from above – one of my favourite angles. All images shot from the north side are included in my Northern Beaches Collection and available as glorious artworks, ready to hang on your bare walls!

The winds have dropped, the rains ceased, and there was chest-high surf. Bingo!

  1. Wow, what a city. Great to see a few other spots and angles too. Just makes me want to go for a dip everywhere. Thanks for the pics, as always!
