Slow start to the day after pushing our clocks forward 1hr. Yawn… The wind backed right off last night leaving some clean conditions for this morning. The swell has dropped a couple of notches as well, and is now producing waves around 4 foot on the sets down at Bondi. Northerly winds today blowing 15/20 knots in the afternoon (NE). It’s a wonky swell breaking pretty randomly if not mostly closing out. Other beaches would have much more to offer today. Go for a drive. High tide 2pm, low tide 7:30am, max of 23 degrees today, partly cloudy, sunrise at 6am, first light at 5:30am.

Last Saturday the Beach Road Hotel Single Fin Classic was held down at Bondi in 2-3 footers at first in the morning, which then turned into 6-8 foot monsters with the howling afternoon onshore. Ian Wallace won the event for the second time, whilst local power grom Perth Standlick came in second, John "Bones" Dwyer third and Shane Thomas fourth. Paul Cram took out the seniors with Glen Platt coming second. Hilarious day with some out of control dance moves before heats… Check out a few snaps
