Flotsam

I hope you got a surf in this morning, before the onshore. It was on the cook! My shots may not reflect what I saw, as I spent a lot of the morning dodging rainstorms (or waiting for light), but there are some good times out there.

Unfortunately, around 10:30 am, the southerly has come in and ruined the party. It’s all over, back to your desk, punch out those emails. It was only a tiny window of clean 3-4 footers on several banks.

We’re starting to get some flood flotsam rolling into Bondi – there’s an enormous water tank at North, a tree at South and lots of small pieces – probably flushed down via the rivers into our oceans. Today, still, the ocean is a wrong shade of brown. Icebergs looked pretty rancid – tomorrow it will get its much needed weekly clean.
