Cavo Paradiso

When I was a young fella, I had a windfall and decided to dash to Greek Islands to let loose and spend it all. Most nights were spent at Cavo Paradiso, an open-air, amphitheatre shaped eastern facing clifftop bar carved from stone. Its opening hours was like 1am to 10am and at 6:30 am, when the sun rose, the crowd would go bananas. It just reminded me a bit of Bronte! Sunrise is super busy at Bronte Baths as everyone waits around, wanting to get a glimpse of the sun peeping over the horizon.

I digress…

Tiny waves, knee crunchers with the odd waist high left. Rain coming tomorrow, big swell on the weekend.

Everyone is still in shock at last night’s fatal shark attack at Little Bay (13kms south of Bondi Beach). It’s just so incredibly sad and close to home for us all. Condolences to the family and friends involved. Just devastating….

Have a good one, :: uge
