Melt.

The heat from the weekend was stifling – wasn’t it? Today’s cooling southerly is a pleasant sight. Saturday night was the hottest November evening on record – not dipping below 25.

I would even say it was too hot to go to the beach on Saturday! What? Yeah, the early forties can make you very uncomfortable. The plants in my garden are burnt (black) like they caught on fire. The tyres on my bicycle were slimy as if they were about to disintegrate. I shot pics in the peak of the heat, and my cameras were starting to malfunction – requiring a power cycle and time in the shade.

Wow!

Fortunately the southerly has also brought swell. It was a fat 3 foot at sunrise, but at least water is moving, and you can paddle for it.

Your eyeballs are probably scorched from the weekend’s furnace. “Good Citizens” are sunglasses made from a single bottle of recycled plastic. That’s one single-use plastic bottle less in the world. They’re made in Sydney and family business (just like ours). Buy
