1000Ft

Today’s images come from high in the sky, mostly around 1000 feet above ground level. From up there, you get a different angle on the world. It was pretty chilly up high – much colder than down here!

The visibility is fantastic today, no smoke, no fog, no smog. Sydney is looking it’s best. Enjoy it now, as from 4 pm this afternoon clouds thicken, then rain.

Sydney is a great place to live. Today we flew from Malabar to Bondi along the coast, stopping in to check all my favourite beaches. The water was an attractive aqua colour; clarity was decent, beaches were quiet.

We came in via the heads and tracked towards the city region as the commuters started to pour in. So many nooks and crannies to Sydney – have a look around your own backyard – you don’t need a chopper! Here are some ideas for the weekend, sydney.com
