Onshore Flow

It’s been onshore for a few days now, and the ocean looks like a junkyard. Eighteen knots of SSE is making things unsurfable, unenjoyable and keeping me highly productive at work, inside.

There was a short twinkle of colour at sunrise, it was brief, so many of you would have missed it. The beach was empty.

Last week we scored some epic water clarity with all those westerly winds, hence the underwater sequence in today’s post. That clarity has now been blown away…with the onshores.

The common theme for this week is RAIN. Yep, it’s going to be one of those summers. There’s a threat of a very wet week ahead; lucky it’s Cyber week where you can go mad online shopping. Speaking of, spend $500 with us, score $50. So many people have jumped on our little deal sweetener since launching on Friday.

Christmas gallery artwork order deadlines are approaching, especially if you’re overseas.

P.S. TALL POPPY: A Skater’s Story – is a film all about our local skateboard legend Poppy Olsen’s rise to the Olympics. I’ve known Poppy since she was a little tyke, and she’s an inspiration for many of the skate Ratz in Bondi. Sunday 5 December at 4:30 pm, Bondi Junction EVENT CINEMAS are doing a 1-time large-screen viewing. Come.
