Blowy

She sure is windy down there this morning. Nearly blew the camera right out of my hands. We’ve got a southerly dominating Sydney at the moment. Fortunately this will kick up the swell tonight. Right now it looked like one huge mess down there. Seek protected southerly corners. :: uge

Mecca

If I had a dollar for everyone that said this to me today… “I had to come for a swim today after seeing your photos yesterday” …I’d be rich. Filthy. Everyone was down there this morning enjoy the salubrious water conditions we have at the moment. This pretty picture will all end shortly though…storm and […]

B O W L S

There’s some NE swell on its way to Sydney. I was thinking it might have come up a bit more this morning than it did. Bondi was 2 foot and very wind affected with an early morning SE onshore. Ok, it was junk. Maybe in a few more hours she’ll improve? Pray. Kinda hot day […]

Trickle

Howdy. It’s been a long week since we’ve had fun waves in Sydney. Today’s tiny again and overcast. That storm last night gave us a good wash. I just checked the forecast and there are no substantial swells to report. Not in the near future. Sit tight. It’ll happen. Xmas is less than 4 weeks […]

Brand New Week

After last week I was getting acclimatised to shooting perfect waves, big gaping wide open monster barrels, sunshine, Kelly, Taj, Mark Matthews etc. Now this morning…shooting empty, grey Bondi just didn’t cut the mustard. Looks like everyone’s filled their wave quota up on last week – no one around…also there’s a tinge of winter claws […]

Bonditis

I wasn’t around for the City to Surf but you sure can tell 100,000 people have been through our neck of the woods…Bondi seems a little ‘worn’. I also missed the clean swells of yesterday that so many have kindly reminded me of this morning. It’s dropped back a little, 2-3 foot. Bondi was uncrowded […]
