Lotta sad faces around Bondi today as yesterday’s joy fades into a distant memory. So many places firing yesterday – hell – fat tubes at Bondi on the corner bank?!#@ Today’s half the size’‘n’half as clean with half as many out. 2 foot weak fat bits broke in the south earlier (8am). Maybe a lower tide would suit – (low tide 5:40pm) but checking my post box at 12:20pm it was barely breaking.

The forecast for the weekend is not so great surfwise. Further decline in swell heights (E), cloudy and rainy tomorrow but nice on Sunday and Monday. But cheer up – its Australia day tomorrow. The one day of the year where you can run around naked sporting the aussie flag and get away with it. Where you can have a sneaky little rave party in the park and not get shut down. The one day where you can play pingpong in the north bondi kiddie pool. Crank the barbie…

A brand spanka 114 foot luxury boat (think Marbella/James Bond style) will be touring the southern atolls of Maldives 6 – 13 April 2008. Its maiden voyage needs some surfers.
