Chunk

There is some chunk to the bump today.

Bondi has some mighty fine close outs. Some of the best I’ve seen. I’m talking 4-5 foot…all in a line dumping on the banks. I really hope some of the holes in our sand banks are being filled in. We need it. Some funky banks out there. Tide is low in the middle of the day so I don’t think it will improve. Best go for a drive. Protection from the Southerly required.

As I write this the rain is pouring down. A great day to get your work hat on and collect the brownie points.

Here is some stuff you really need to see:

  • Owen Wright’s brother, Mikey, falling off at Lakey Peak…then body surfs the foam…then recovers miraculously as his board pops up from nowhere. You’ll see what I mean. Watch
  • Teale Vanner recently moved to Bondi from S.A. He’s the guy in the fluoro green Hurley suit that surfs as smooth as Curren. You’ve seen him. Kid rips. He recently went home for a few. Watch
  • Did you see 50 year old Tom Curren’s perfect 10 at Jbay a few weeks ago? Seriously amazing…Watch

Ok, back to work now.
