Last Tuk Tuk Outta Ceylon

Just a quick hop across the ditch (1hr flight) and we’re swapping coconut palms for coral reefs — chasing more waves and clear blue water in the Maldives.

Sri Lanka… you’ve been wild, raw, exotic and completely alive. We’ve loved our time here. Shooting photos was a dream — there’s always something going on. Every tuk tuk ride, temple visit or roadside stop was a photo op. And judging by your messages, you’ve enjoyed the ride too.

A lot of people asked: “Is this trip for me?”
Well, the Tans gave it a big thumbs up. It’s got some surf — though we arrived between swells (of course). Word is it was a solid 6-foot at A-Bay the week before we rocked up, and it started pulsing again the day we left. But for intermediate surfers and families, it’s a dream: fun waves, warm water, and mellow vibes.
Oh — and the food? Off-the-charts good. These people can cook.

If you’re keen, hit up The Perfect Wave Travel Co and ask for the “Uge + Deb itinerary.” Maybe just spread it out a little… we travel fast, and not everyone wants to holiday like they’re on The Amazing Race.

Alright then (said with a gentle head wobble like the locals), enjoy your weekend. And if your walls are looking a little bland, swing by our Aquabumps Bondi Gallery at 64 Hall Street — we’re open all weekend.
