Bondi 7am – chilly, shoulder high on sets
Hola. South swell arrived this morning creating waves around shoulder high down at Bondage (7am). Chilly W/SW winds are blowing offshore before swinging around to the S/SW and howl onshore 20/30 knots. So if you’re planning a surf today, this morning will be the best time to get out there before. This swell will continue to build this afternoon and will hang around for a couple of days. I would expect tomorrow to be decent size chunks (5 – 6 foot) at south facing beaches. Yeha!
SMOKING will be banned on Bondi beach after a unanimous vote by Waverley Council on the 19 th May. I think this is the best thing that has ever happened to Bondage. At any one time 700,000 cigarette butts are estimated to be on Australia ‘s most famous beach.
