Bondi 12:30pm – waist to shoulder high, fun
Midday bumps today (sorry if you get this really late). Nope – didn’t sleep in and wasn’t surfing either… Loads of people down the beach on this glorious day – not bad for winter. The thumping south swell that blessed us for the past week has now run away, leaving us with waist to shoulder high waves at Bondi. Still some fun to be had, however the wind looks like it is about to come and blow onshore from the SE. Water is still warm, 21 degrees, and the maximum land temperature is about the same.

How good was last week for swell – pumping… Friday arvo had massive chunks loose on our shores. Bronte had some bomb sets, see Phil Rich’s photo in today’s report for a beefy right. This week looks…erm…pretty flat. So pack away those big guns and get back onto the mal/fish.

CJ Hobgood won the Taihitian Teahupoo Billabong Pro in perfect 8 footers – check it. http://www.tracksmag.com/news_show.php?id=33
