Saturation

Well, that was one heck of a sunrise this morning. I’m glad I sprung outta bed at the wee hours to capture it. The colours were so intense…and then a moment later – grey. I hope you caught a glimpse of the colour bloom.

There are waves today, it’s surfable – is it good? YEAH – nah – more nah. The 5 am high tide killed it. Mid to low, maybe something? Maybe.

It’s boring to keep saying this – but we have no decent banks for surfers at Bondi, and I wish it would change. Maybe we should all chip in for an Airwave? The Airwave is a two-metre high, dome-shaped bladder, twelve metres in diameter at the base, designed to make an a-frame, where there was merely a closeout before.

Rain coming! This afternoon clouds will arrive…and maybe some rain.

Big Fight for Little Noah
On the evening of 20 April 2020, while most of Australia (and the world) was in COVID lockdown, our beautiful friends the Beserra family received some horrible, life-changing news about their adorable 2-year-old boy Noah. A lot of you would know Christian from the water – as he’s in the line up a lot.

They were told that Noah had a massive brain tumour that would need to be removed immediately for Noah to have any chance of survival. After surgery and radiation therapy, we’re all banding together to help the financial burden on the Beserra family in this tough time. Please donate

  1. Can we chip in for an Airwave? 500 surfers shouldn’t be too much each. We can even take turns on the wave for a change 🙂
