Glazed

It was a beautiful, semi-dark, ultra glass morning down at Bondi. It was eerily quiet – where was everyone? Barely anyone surfing, swimming or exercising. Very rare to see the beach like that in our neck of the woods.

A small left nugget was randomly popping up at south, with just a couple of groms and Daz filling their boots up. I’d call it waist to chest high on sets. No, not pumping, as the recent golden sandbanks have shifted elsewhere. Let’s hope this weekend’s massive inbound swell will bring them back! Ah-huh, on Friday, big waves are coming. Wax up the step-up!

Rotto was pumping on Friday at Stricko for the WSL hotdogs. The finals are yet to run, probably Wednesday if the conditions clean up.

Have a great week, :: uge
