The Bondi SurfAid Cup is currently on down at Bondi, and there are plenty of waves and sunshine. There are few shots from the actual comp because I’m in it with the groms as their mascot. Thank you again so much for all your support and donations. The Aquabumps groms raised 9k for Surfaid, which is awesome.
What a pearler of a Friday. We deserve it. It’s 23, warm, still and salubrious.
The waves are interesting—a massive 16-second period is pushing some solid lines into the bay. Our banks fold under any size, so there are plenty of closeouts. If you’re going for a wave, the south end is comp-designated, so keep out.
