Not a pretty sight down the beach. Onshore, 1-2 footers and pouring rain. You definitely are not missing anything down there.
Let’s go back to better times…like Hawaii 8 weeks ago. It’s nice there. Here is some shots you haven’t seen from my recent trip.
Heli400 – The Westpac chopper crews are paddling ski’s from Bega to Bondi (370kms) to raise money for the heli rescue service (which badly needs funds). They will be arriving into Bondi around 12:30pm on Sunday 3rd May after 9 days of grueling paddling (and sometimes riding if the weather is no good). Show them you’re support – you never know, one day you just might need to be rescued by the heli boys out of the ocean…more

Nice to read that you are preserving the exact names of beaches on the north shore. Having lived there on and off for 7 years i know how protective the locals get.
Having said that your snippet regarding the recent block of land at Rocky Point to the Go Pro guy took me back to a location of great memories……. I lived next door!!
