The Cyclades

The Cyclades is probably the most famous group of islands in Greece. The Greek God Apollo was born here. The Cyclades contains islands like Mykonos, Ios, Santorini. Each island seems to have a different personality. Some mellow, some loose. Mykonos is pretty wild in parts, but there are some chilled areas. They all have fantastic beaches, deep blue water and cloudless skies.

Amorgos is in the Cyclades, and it’s where Luc Besson’s film The Big Blue was shot.

I know the swell has been enormous in Bondi. Today it should be settling and cleaner. Hit it!

  1. I must say that your first shot of this post blew me away Uge!
Incredible work , in more ways than one! ( and without a surfer in site Ha ha)

      1. I surf often Uge, living on the central coast now that is all. Haven’t been to Bondi in quite a while but i do like checking your posts from time to time. Hope you are still managing to score the best sets when the waves are good 🙂

  2. OMG you mentioning The Big Blue just sent me back to when I first saw that film,,, one of my all time fave movies . Thank you for the glorious images every morning ??
