It’s a cloudy, hazy day today in Sydney. We’ve got light North winds with a 2 foot NE swell. More exposed beaches (not Bondi) would attract greater swell energy. Head to Manly, Maroubra or Tamarama if you’re not shackled to the office desk.

Another warm one, 30. Tomorrow though, wow, 35! Hot hot hot! And then some rain on Friday.

If you’re in Bondi Junction Westfield, you’ll see our Underwater Ballet Exhibition out the front of Dion Lee’s shop. And while you’re there, check out the enormous prints we put up over the old Land Rover Jag shop (next to Apple).

Have a great day, most of the kiddos are back at school today so the beach should be MUCH quieter.

  1. Hello there …just a quick question…what’s your thoughts on basic flash systems for underwater photography….eg:the “Lume cube”?…basic entry level for beginners/go pro setups….tried with dive lights to begin and works but get that hot spot…thanks if you have time to reply…Ben

    1. Hi Ben,

I don’t use any flash underwater, sorry. Not my game.

I’d get your google on, there’s such good info on the web these days and where I source most of my intel.

      Cheers, Uge

      1. Was amazed how well 2 x200 lumen torches worked at night underwater just been eyeing the lume cube…has 1000 lumens…..thanks for your reply
