Shackadelic

The recent pounding swell has moved sand into some interesting formations. There’s a super shallow bank at the South Bondi that’s been spitting out tubes this morning. It’s not for the faint-hearted, it eats boards as water slabs onto a shallow shelf. It was a pleasure to shoot – I really missed shooting in the brine during the lockdown.

Incredible numbers of people out exercising, walk, surfing, swimming this morning. You’d think we’ve all been locked up for a couple of months or something!

In yesterday’s email, there was a mistake/typo. We pride ourselves on our journalist accuracy. When writing about the sunrise on June 21, I mentioned the sun would rise as late as 7:43am. Obviously I wrote this before having my morning java. 21st June IS the winter solstice, but the sun will rise at 7am. Thank you for all the messages correcting me. It’s good to know you’re reading this and not just looking at my pretty piccies!

Don’t forget, we’re offering Free Aust-Wide shipping on all gallery artworks (offer ending soon). Yes, that’s free, saving you hundreds of bucks on shipping big artworks around this glorious island. If you’re in one of our most expensive shipping zones, e.g. West Oz, you’re mad if you don’t snag a deal. Watch this to explain how, and click here to chat.
