Oops.

The bad news is that I totally missed today’s early pink sunrise. I saw it blossoming as I raced out the door. As I approached the beach, someone swiftly turned down the saturation dial and it returned to dark grey skies for my arrival. Bugger! Not even pink crumbs…just 50 shades of grey. I’m still slapping myself as I write this. What a tease!

The good news is that earlier sunrises mean longer days. Longer days mean summer is coming. We’re on the home straight outta winter. Just imagine boardy surfs from 5am! Oh, the other good news is that I did see and capture a few shots of the giant pod of dolphins in the bay this morning. Wasn’t that spectacular?

There are waves head high at Bondi, but the swell has swung East, and the winds are from the north (north winds are a sign of summer also).
