Bucketing

After a mighty fine weekend of sunshine, we’re back to the default settings (constant flood rain). It’s gushing down as I type this, and small rivers flow down roads. Hectic.

It was good to see Bondi in full swing again – people everywhere on the weekend!

George Pittar and Rosie Smart won the finals of the Aussie Open of surfing at Bondi on Saturday. Our local boy, Grayson, scored a wild card and came a fantastic third. It was amazing to watch a high standard of surfing at our home beach.

Australia is a big place. The thought of running across it from Cott Beach to Bondi Beach in a month, averaging 100 kilometres daily, sounds unfathomable. Nedd Brockmann, a 23-year-old sparkie, is on the final day of this enormous trek – all to raise funds for the homeless of Sydney.
Nedd will arrive in Bondi tonight after raising 1.3 million for the homeless – the world needs more blokes like Nedd, a true legend. Donate now (I just did)

Enjoy the indoors today.
Be highly productive.
Stay dry.
