Last night Bondi came alive as Nedd Brockman trotted along the prom, completing his 3952km odyssey. The vibe was incredible as thousands lined the final leg of his countrywide schlep – such a fantastic feat – an example to us all of what a strong mind can achieve. Raising 1.5 mil for the homeless is just as impressive.
Today the beach was quiet, the winds constantly onshore (std) and waves in the waist-to-chest high range. The sun popped out intermittently, but my overall assessment – it was not a beach day.
Later in the week, we will have more strange, heavy rain.
