A pre-sunrise swim with a frosty westerly is always invigorating. The fantastic spate of waves continues, and the groms are feasting (wow – there are so many of them!). It’s not big, say waist to chest high, with the odd head-high one.
The rips make great waves but also make it harder for me to remain in the spot. Bit tricky this morning to connect for shots.
Tomorrow we will see a large new south swell; I hope it will not change our current sand bank configuration…as it’s fun.
My Godson, Charlie Verco, from North Bondi, won the prestigious Molokai to Oahu Paddleboard yesterday with a time of 4hrs 53mins. What a legend! Perth Standlick also came in 9th on the SUP/foil division.
