Nope the picture above isn’t from today…wish… If these bad conditions continue my archives are going to run thin. Well it’s onshore as expected with a large increase in swell size. I saw sets up around 6 foot out the back, but it’s a total frothn’ mess – only one helmeted lone wolf trying to paddle out, who quit after 5 minutes. Forget about it for now (or head north to protected Manly/Collaroy). Best wait for the switch to NE winds later tonight. High tide 10:40am, low tide 5:30pm. Swell will come off a bit over night but should still be around 3-4 foot in the morning.

World Tour News: Mick Eugene Fanning takes out the Brazil WCT event over CJ Hobgood in the final. Fanning now ranked 2nd in the world to Kelly Slater, is looking pretty sharp for title race next year…as Kelly’s already taken out the number 1 seat for this year before the tour has even finished. more
