The swell direction has changed overnight so you’ll see no action at Bondi today…need to pop over the hill. There was good little waves yesterday wasn’t there? I found some gold out of town (nope no pics, had to sample a few for myself).
The sun is now blaring and finally a decent warm summery morning…but it looks like rain this week and this afternoon. Warm temps throughout, Monday 27, Tuesday 25, Wednesday 26, Thursday 26, Friday 28 and a banging 29 on Saturday. All week we will have NE swell like today, peaking tonight before declining to 1-2 footers.
Another title…
By now you’ve probably heard, Kelly Slater has made sporting history – 10 world titles. Yes TEN! He sealed the deal on the weekend at Puerto Rico where he amassed enough points to move out of reach from the remaining contender Jordy Smith and collect the 2010 ASP World Title, culminating a 20-year effort. Amazing. Just amazing.

but i also some how find it funny that in the Andy/Kelly stand offs that andy always had it over kelly and so is the case now. Andy in death, has once again stolen the limelight taking the shine off kellys win.
