Maroubra sand lines

( + )

Well hello and welcome to our 3,456th installment of Aquabumps. Today we are going to take you to the crispy blue waters of Maroubra beach where the current south swell is breaking in an orderly fashion, @ 2-3 foot…and sometimes bigger. The grooming offshore winds are creating clean faces and frosty toes. 6 degrees!

So you’ve been reading my quirky corner of the internet for some time now. I’ve been doing this for 16 years – can you believe it? We are growing old together. Now I have a little favour to ask… I need your money. Any amount… I need you to sponsor the Aquabumps  surf team who are about to surf in the SurfAid cup – 1st week of Sept. All your hard earned coin will go the needy people of Mentawai. Surfaid is our No.1 charity – I ONLY beg for money once a year. Think of it as a subscription fee to this otherwise free beach service. C’mon. Could ya? Donate Here

If you are running the City to Surf…come see us in the Aquabumps Gallery 151 Curlewis Street Bondi – a stone’s throw away from the finish line. Open all day 10am to 6pm. You can even rest up in our garden

  1. A surf aid style charity for indigenous surfers would be a cool thang too…”…..pay the locals for riding there breaks ….and making coin off there beaches…. Garrigal tax offsets!
