Tumultuous, Bondi 7:00am

Bait

How wild was that storm last night? Crazy huh? Any hail damage on your vehicle? Roof hold up? Do tell…

I was a lil’ surprised to see the sun pop out this morning after such a prominent storm. I think it will whip into rain and greys later today.

Shark fever continues…Pama Davies, our local hotshot/aerial wizard…was surfing Bondi last night on dark. A big shadow swam under him and freaked everyone out. Pama said “100% sure it was a shark…big one…” “about the size of a jetski with the sled”. Pama was pretty rattled and got everyone out of the water. Was it Freddy?

No wonder the line up was empty at Bondi this morning – with good waves, 3 foot.

  1. Crowdless this morning. Never seen it like that before – well not when it’s offshore, 3-4 ft, good banks…

  2. I can think of a lot of other predators that lurk around Bondi that would be more of a community worry than one shark going about there natural BUISNESS that be to eat…like us….there is also a huge stingray that frequently comes into the break sniffing out what the waves stirrup in the sand….it’s the size of a large dinner table…it was on higher tide in avo…again our surfing habits need to be reviewed…..you get what you give….so be nice to the Sharks….please!
