The Big Dry

A windy morning with frosty offshores straight off ‘dem mountains. Damn, it felt cold down there just before sunrise. Everyone was coming out of the water with bright red faces.

Waves – yep, we have some. I saw the odd waist to shoulder high bump pumping into Bondi. A 9:40 am high tide was doing it’s best to hide the biggest waves. A lower tide should improve conditions. These gusty winds should calm down this arvo also (and the swell should kick a little). Bonus!

The clear dry skies continue. Spare a thought for our farmers praying for rain. How about a few bucks to buy a bale of hay to help out.

  1. Eugene, It has`nt rained up here on the Gold Coast for ages. My water tank in bone dry. I`m a bit pissed off that Malcom can give $450 million to the Barrier Reef mob when they did`nt even ask for it. Would have been a nice help to our farmers. I wonder how much a bale of hay costs? Bluey
