Early bird dodging sets, waiting for the right one

Winter Love

Love winter. It’s the best time around here. Bondi is half empty and you can even find a car park on Hall Street (from time to time). Winter also brings swell, mostly from the south and we’re facing the right direction to greet it. Yesterday’s dwindling swell has been replace by, yep, yet again, another solid south swell. We’re blessed. It’s 3-4 foot and getting bigger as you read this. Little bit of random junk on it, but some real nice rides to be had. Most beaches should show a wave today.

High tide: 2:15pm
Low tide: 7:30am and 9:11pm
Wind: currently howling 30 knots of SW but north winds tomorrow.

The Mentawais are having a cracker of a season, and you need to get 5 mates and book a trip on Tengirri for 2011 now – half the charters are already booked. Do it, I’ve booked my special spot in 2011. www.tengirri.com

Have a great day, enjoy the sunshine and the icy wind. Adios, Ugios

P.S Late breaking news – Tragic news, a man has been killed by a shark at Gracetown (Near Margs) at 8:15am this morning. He was supposedly surfing south point. Shocking news. That is all the details known at this stage.
