morning meanderings

Well we’ve all had a real nice time lately. Swell has been plentiful, grooming offshores and lots of options in Sydney. Today looks to be the ugly brother of the previous two days…junkie, wobbly, dark yet still surfable. The best waves I saw along my morning wander was at Bondi, with smaller (but cleaner) 2-3 footers. Tama and Bronte looked full and agitated. Guess it was that early southerly which interrupted our good run. Early morning tide didn’t help either. Stick to south corners.

The Layne Beachley Classic is on today at Dee Why (NSW). You can watch the girls live here. Round 4.

I’ve been neglecting our iphone app for some time now. Sorry. Hell, you couldn’t even download it from itunes (for a little while) until recently. So I’m glad to report, its back up, download it, just go to App Store on your iPhone and type “Aquabumps” (surprise surprise) and download it for FREE. We’ve fixed it up, so it doesn’t have all that noticeboard junk (which annoyed many), you can just see the fruits of the morning shoots…yep, whilst you are catching the train, in an important board meeting or in the beach carpark. Did I mention Free? Yeah Free.

Have a good day, new south swell coming tomorrow, 2-3 footers (flanked with south winds).

How about this little beach shack at Byron for a winter getaway…

Good bye, :: uge

  1. Did you hear about the dolphins at Bondi yesterday? There were about a dozen or mores wimming up and down the beach for about 45 minutes and getting so close to us we could almost touch them! It was Magic!
