I was more excited to see the sun than check out the waves - so good

re-ignite

Sorry about the slightly late update, been watching 12 foot bombs at the Hawaiian Pipe Masters, Would you paddle out there?

Last night before I closed my eyes I checked the weather and it said “Showers in the morning, clearing”. Couldn’t be any further from the truth.

Clear skies, 24 degrees, blue water, chest high waves and tight wolf pack of diverse surfing skill burning each other. Just another day down at Bondi.

On the weekend there is a shoulder high ENE swell coming. Nothing great, it also looks like it could rain all weekend. Yay – it’s been at least 12 hours since the last down pour. Go shopping.

Aquabumps Xmas Orders Close Sunday

Christmas Day is 2 weeks away and creeping up on us. Here in the Aquabumps Gallery we stock plenty of prints, but only a 2% of our huge catalogue. If you want something custom printed, framed and picked up from Bondi before Xmas day you need to get your orders in before Sunday 6pm. You can do it online, you can come into the store or phone 9130 7788 or email us. We are open all weekend 10am to 6pm and you will find us at 151 Curlewis Street Bondi Beach. See you soon.

  1. LOVED the Great Bear Rainforest youtube flick you posted yesterday (admit to loving the scenery & environmental messages a tad more than the surfing footage). It’s an incredible part of the world – jealous of the guys’ remote trip. Thanks!

  2. To be a meteorologist or weather guy is most wanted job ever, you can say any BS about future wether and never get sacked for that.

  3. Uge – Looks perfect out there today, shame I’m the other side of the world where it’s 2oC and as far from the coast as it’s possible in the UK!

  4. follow you on FB, never been on a board would fall flat on my face haha , but love your photos and cant wait to go to Bondi in Feb love watching the webcast those waves are huge, thanks for so much you share 🙂

  5. I love your pictures…. What type of camera do you use? And do you use it on a specific setting? p.s. I’m from the northern beaches, maybe you should come down and take some pictures of our beaches every once in a while? xx
