Kinda mellow finish to the week, tiny surf and colourful sunrise skies.
It’s been a good week for surfers, but today suits the learners brigade – it’s tiny.
A spot of rain tonight, cloudy, then days of sunshine follow. How good.
The red rocks at South Bondi, after all the erosion, are super exposed at the moment. Not often do you see them sticking out so far. Apparently they’re red in colour due to a 200 million-year-old river that used to flow with iron content (back when we were connected to Antarctica). That came from a smart Aquabumps reader by the way…I’m not that bright.
Have a great week, Bondi boardriders has it’s first meet this Sunday. On what, I am not sure as the banks are the worst I’ve ever seen – some say the worst since July 1966.
Father’s Day is a couple of weeks away. A lot of you may not be able to see your Pops if he’s older in the risk covid zone or he’s in another state (like me), or you’re probably not shopping at the malls (especially if in Melbs – hang in there guys). So we have a solutions – you can get him the new VB Beer aftershave (which actually contains traces of VB beer) OR, order one of our glorious gallery artworks and we will deliver it to his door – all handmade in Oz. Order online now, custom artworks start at $150 (framed). Pick anything!
