It’s just like yesterday, but bigger. We’ve had an excellent run of weather and waves over the past couple of weeks. The water remains a very comfortable 22ish degrees…the Gold Coast was 25 on the weekend!
The swell is on the decline and will get smaller for the rest of the week.
There’s some raw sewage pouring out of a broken pipe at South Bondi – oh boy, just like the old days. The stench ain’t great as you enter the water…
Come Fly With Me
I’m raising money for my main charity, Surfaid, and have a team in the Bondi Cup next week. Thank you for your donations.
To hit my goal of raising $20,000, I’m raffling a back seat in one of my coastal helicopter shoots. It’s an incredible one hour experience to see our beaches from above – I still get a buzz after hundreds of flights. So join me, in the air, by purchasing raffle tickets online here. I’ll give 100% of any funds raised from this raffle directly to Surfaid. The raffle closes May 6. Winners announce May 10. You need to be in Sydney to participate as we fly out of Mascot and you will only get a 2-days notice, pending weather.
Project Blank tenner-off
The seasons are changing and this warm ocean water will not last. Our buddies at Project Blank are offering a generous 10% off their range using “AQUABUMPS10” at check out. I recommend their new Eco Wetsuit made from Yulex natural rubber. Order
