Angry froth

Drive Thru

It’s a whole lot prettier now than when I got out of bed this morning. The swell is up and angry, the sou-wester is howling and it’s winter claws dig deep (I am currently wearing 2 jumpers). I saw waves in the 4 to 5 foot vicinity on an extremely low morning tide. Bondi had nuttin’, not a cracker – too low…watched a guy on a rescue board get expelled out to sea at Tama (three times)….and at Bronte, Perth Standlick rode some bomb sets, having the whole joint to himself. It wasn’t perfect, semi clean as that huge rock headland blocks the sou-wester wind quite well.

Enjoy the sun – it’s coming out. Tomorrow should be fun as conditions clean up.

Good bye kids :: uge

  1. You might wonder why you had it to yourself, Perth, you made junk look good. When I saw Bronte this morn it looked understandably unloved.

  2. As I view the photos on a daily basis, summer approaches here in the states (Arizona) and the waves make it look almost cooler outside. Refreshing each and every day…Good on ya mate…

  4. The prospect of a cappuccino, surfing on my own is the only driving force to get me out of bed when its still dark.
