Bondi is gearing up for a party this weekend as 15,000 people hit the beach for the annual Pride party. This morning was a good prelude as the beach was absolutely packed at 6 am. I overheard a British tourist say, “What on earth is going on geezer? I mean, it’s 6am; why is everyone up so early?”.
Why? We like the sunrise and the good morning vibes.
There were waves present early, but the higher tides hindered performance. I saw the odd chest-high set, and the water was inviting. As I write, clouds are parking across the bay, and I hear a shower may be on order. Will it rain for the big party? Patchy patchy…you could be dancing in the rain with your sequence and cowboy hat.
