Drainers

The beach is full of dramatic rips, sweeps and shallow banks. Exacerbated by the lower morning tides, there’s plenty of hollowness and straightness. Nothing too exciting, 2-3 foot (mainly 2) but the super-groms and mini-john-johns were pumped.

Sun finally came out, and the winds were non-existent. Clean az.

I’m a big fan of Indonesia and have been travelling there since I was a grom. This year I’ll make three Indo trips to the wave-rich areas – mainly the remote areas. My passion for Indo is why I support SurfAid – a charity that works the remote parts we surf. If you surf Indo, you should support SurfAid as well…the Bondi Surfaid Cup is coming up (May 26), and I’m trying to raise 20k. Can you help us out? This year the whole Tan family will be surfing (yes, even 9-year-old Spikey). Please donate to our cause and help us out.
