Bondi Beach was busting at the seams over the weekend with activity. Wow, there was so much going on – I was glad to see a quiet, rainy beach day today to give it a break.

So what did you miss?

The Australian Open of Surfing finals were held at Bondi yesterday in the worst surf I’ve seen here in weeks. Isla Huppatz & Luke Brumby were victorious. (watch some clips)

The Garage Trail was on, which meant everyone was selling something everywhere!

Saturday was a knock-out day with clear skies, blue water and medium-level crowds. (I’ve seen a lot busier).

Last night, Ben Buckler had 1,000 people dancing to a makeshift DJ (a bit like the old Wonderland parties in Tama). Wow.

Head On Photography festival was exhibiting on The Prom…Anita Gelato had a 100m queue, Bongos moved to the North Bondi sand, and Woolworths looked more like a looting frenzy.

Ah yes, no place like Bondi.
Tomorrow morning may be fun and clean.

We’re currently taking Christmas gallery orders and shipping them globally. Allow 2-3 weeks to handcraft works, 1 week for shipping anywhere (e.g. London/New York). Shop the good stuff.
