A big ol’ blocking high-pressure system has parked itself over southeastern Australia, acting like a weather forcefield. That means no wild southerlies, barely a ripple of swell, and sunshine for days. These are the glamour winter days we live for — crisp, clear, calm.
At 7:24am, it dipped to just 9.2°C — balmy compared to last week’s bone chill — and we’re sitting on 15°C as I bash out this highly factual, wildly riveting editorial.
